We are excited to present our list of events for the coming season. We have added some new stops to our schedule this year. Please remember that we are a small family operated business so the weeks we have events out of town we will not be available at our Anderson location.
Friday April 11 and Saturday April 12 join us in Gainsville, GA for the Hall County Master Gardener's Spring Garden Expo. This two day event is held at the Chicopee Woods Agricultural center. For more information see their site at http://www.hcmgs.com/page/page/5175722.htm
Thursday April 17 through Sunday April 20 will be be in Columbia at the state farmers market located at 1001 Bluff Road. This annual event is new for us this year but is an established plant shopper's dream. Vendors from accross the state turn out each year for this festival allowing one-stop shopping for all of your planting needs. Hours are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Thursday through Saturday and 12:00 pm to 5:00 on Sunday. The event is free but it is suggested that you bring your own wagon/cart if you have one!
Thursday May 1 through Sunday May 4 is our favorite event of the year! Once again we will be at the Piedmont Plant and Flower Festival held at the state farmers market in Greenville. The market is located at 1354 Rutherford Road. This wonderful family event boasts the largest selection of plant material at one place in the upstate all being sold dirct by the growers. Hours are Thursday through Saturday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Saturday May 10 we will be joining Ashdown Roses in Landrum for thier annual Rose Festival. This will be our second year at this event and last year it was loads of fun with lots of great people, even if we were cut short by some nasty weather!
